A down week leading into the Twilighter

Last week I ran my highest week this year (77 miles). I was very pleased with how I felt, as this took place during our first major heat wave (not that it hasn't been hot in prior weeks... this was code red hot).
The Rockville Twilighter kicks off at 8:45 in the Rockville Towncenter on saturday night. I have been looking forward to this race for a few weeks. It is crazy competitive... which means it will be fast. The projected high is 98 for saturday... lets hope it is not near that at 8:45pm. Best of luck to all who are racing.

Saturday(7/10): 17 miles (5 miles in the middle at 5:30 pace). It rained and rained and it felt great great.
Sunday(7/11): 8 miles easy in the am.
Monday(7/12): OFF. I needed a day off this week... as I haven't taken one in two weeks.
Tues: (7/13): 13 miles in hilly tyler park prior to driving back to D.C
Wed: (7/14:) WORKOUT(11miles):
3mile warm up
5 x 1k @ 10k pace w/ 400 jog.
3:05,3:04,3:04,3:02,2:58
4 x 200: 31,31,31,30 w/ 200 jog recovery
***I did not sleep well at all on tuesday night... I felt flat during the workout but got through it relaxed for the most part... I just felt like a zombie out there with only 4 hours of sleep under me and a long work day prior to the workout.
